Finding Experience Optimization regions on the Web page
Find Experience Optimization regions on the Web page to find out or change what kind of content appears in the region.
Procedure
- On an editable Web page, start editing by clicking the pencil button in the top right corner.
- Select the border around the Web page and click the Properties border button at top right.
A popup opens showing the properties of this Web page. If the Web page contains Experience Optimization regions, you see a label Targeted Regions at the bottom of the popup, with a link to those regions.
- Click the link to see a list of the Experience Optimization regions on the Web page. Select an item in the list to see a border around the region (if currently in view).
- Double-click a region, or click the arrow icon on the right hand side of a region in the list, to see a popup that shows:
- The title of the current page
- The name of the region
- The maximum number of items allowed in this region
- Buttons to edit a selected Promotion or to add a new one
- A list of the Promotions applied to this region
- A button to open the Experience Optimization Manager application (refer to the Experience Optimization documentation for more information about this application).
You can now select a Promotion in the list to edit it or find out more about it, or you can add a new Promotion to the region.
